I spent half of Sunday being miserable, and that doesn't really go hand-in-hand with speed dating. I feel a bit like he

And that's not going to work for me. I'm not going to be stuck being miserable. I refuse. And if his decision is oh so reaffirmed, then that just means I have to try harder to move on.

I've been thinking changes. And needing one. So I might paint my room, and maybe change the furniture, too. Of course that makes me about 90% sure Roxie will want to change hers too just because, but it's a risk I'm willing to take for the sake of something new.

I don't think I've ever had an off-season more boring and I've been spending most of it hoping I'd get an offer for another team, so apparently, I need to make things a bit more interesting for myself. In which case, I've decided this Sunday to try speed dating. Have a few drinks, meet a few blokes...
I mean, what the hell do I really have to lose, anyway?

Some man stopped me in Diagon Alley yesterday to ask if there was going to be a Women of Quidditch calendar and if I'd be in it. Which I guess was flattering. In a way. But I have to say that it's really not the sort of question you stop and ask someone on the street, especially when it's obvious that the goal is to see them half-naked.

In a way I'm sort of relieved that Fred is going back to Hogwarts tomorrow. But, I mean. That doesn't actually have anything to do with him. It's more about this entire... situation. All the situations.
So I've made a decision of my own with at least one of them. And I'll just... see how it goes. Wherever it goes. That's all I've got, pretty much.

Ha. Wow. They didn't even try to make it look like they're paying for the shit they pulled -- and I mean that in the non-literal, serving time in Azkaban sense. I mean, not even a day? Really? Is the Wizengamot taking illegal potions, too, because this doesn't make a lick of sense.
I think I'm on the verge of having a career crisis.

Some people really need to pick up new hobbies. Or let go. The war is over. Vandalising shit and throwing up dark marks in the middle of harmless events is for cowards and you know what I'd like? For whoever is responsible to grow some balls so I can give them a right kick in them.
Also? Saw my mum today. She pretty much refused to let me into the house for about twenty minutes of arguing and then I found out why. Because was green. Green. She said something about her beauty potions being at fault. In which case, never have I been so glad to not be into all that crap.

To stay a Magpie, or to not stay a Magpie? To have stayed with them this long, that's pretty fucking loyal, isn't it? I stayed even when they weren't putting me in the matches, but exactly how long am I supposed to stay loyal to a team led by people who didn't notice this very big thing happening to it for Merlin knows how long? That could have been my career. And I worked my arse off this season, for what?
I guess I'll just have to see what happens over the next month or so. As of right now, I'm going to make the best of every situation I'm dealing with.
